Latest Walt Disney World Park Hours NewsSchedules Updated For January The schedule for January 2013 has been updated for all parks. Park hours have also been added for June 2013. Schedules Updated For December November 28, 2012 Walt Disney World operating hours for December have been updated. The Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom see significant changes with expanded hours and additional showings of the Main Street Electrical Parade and Fantasmic. A fair number of days in December also see 8:00 am openings. Park Hours Updated for November and Beyond October 19, 2012 At the Magic Kingdom operating hours have been extended along with extra showings of the Main Street Electrical Parade on many days in November. Some 8:00 am openings have been added as well. There are also a few changes early in December. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, park hours have been extended on many days in November by 1 or 2 hours. Many days also see an additional showing of Fantasmic. There are also a few changes early in December. Animal Kingdom sees many days with expanded hours in November, December, January, February, March and April. This includes a fair number of off-season days with 7:00 pm closings. Of note in November are several 8:00 am openings around Thanksgiving. There are no changes to operating times at Epcot. October Park Hours Updated September 19, 2012 Walt Disney World park hours have been updated for October 2012. At the Magic Kingdom on most days without Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in October, park hours have been extended by 1 or 2 hours along with an extra showing of the Main Street Electrical Parade. October also sees a fair number of days with 8:00 am openings. Disney’s Hollywood Studios sees many changes in October. Many days are extended by 1 or 2 hours with an extra showing of Fantasmic. Disney’s Animal Kingdom sees many days extended by 1 or 2 hours on the October schedule. There are no changes to operating times at Epcot, Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. Park Hours Updated Through February 2013 August 20, 2012 Disney has updated random days in its WDW schedule over the next few months. Magic Kingdom hours are the most affected. Hours have been updated in September, October, November, December, and to a lesser extent in January and February. Closing times on some days have been expanded by 1 hour and some additional showings of the Main Street Electrical Parade have been added to the schedule. Some nights see the performance of MSEP moved later by 1 or 2 hours. Note that Night Extra Magic Hours have been removed from October 22. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios there are very few changes to park operating times over the next few months. However, a few extra showings of Fantasmic have been sprinkled in to the schedule over that time period. Disney’s Animal Kingdom sees some very minor changes in September. There are no park hour changes at Epcot, Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. Walt Disney World Park Hours Updated for August & September August 15, 2012 Magic Kingdom's September schedule sees an additional hour added to the closing time of several days. There are basically no changes to performances of Wishes or the Main Street Electrical Parade. There are some slight changes in early October as well. Disney’s Hollywood Studios sees an additional hour added to some days between now and the end of August along with an extra Fantasmic. Select days in September also see closing time expanded by 1 or 2 hours. However, most days in September still see only one showing of Fantasmic. Strangely, the day of September 29 is listed as a 6:00 pm closing with Fantasmic running at 8:00 pm; expect this to change. Disney’s Animal Kingdom sees an additional hour added to operating hours on some days at the beginning and end of September. There are no park hour changes at Epcot. Blizzard Beach loses Morning Extra Magic Hours on August 21. Several days at the beginning of September see operating hours extended from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Typhoon Lagoon loses Morning Extra Magic Hours on August 25. Like Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon sees operating hours extended to 6:00 pm the first few days of September. There may be more changes to September operating hours yet to come. |
